2 vettes real and cartoon

I apologize for posting so much. It's that damn newbie tag. It makes me feel 7.

Here are my last 2 for a while. I did stuff for the Corvette Club for about 2 years. It was fun and I learned a lot. Here's a semi realistic pace car:

I actually cut and pasted the lettering on the side. This is pre-computer for me.

and here's a cartoon vette with the club mascot.

These were for a shirt and for the club publication respectfully.

OncWhen I look at these now all I see are flaws. Once again practice practice practice.

If you ever get to the point where you feel you have learned everything that means you're dead.

Those are really good. What are the sizes of the cars?
and what kind of pens do you use?

For inking I like to use this stuff called Paper for Pens. Almost no capillary action (bleed). The paper size is 14 x 17. It's sturdy enough to do light washes on, and thin enough to work on the light table. I really like it.

For pens I did these using Finepoint Flairs and Sharpies (various sizes)

Nowadays I use Pigma markers for any detail work, and sharpies or brush for fill areas.

Sometimes I'll use an old dip pen with acrylic black ink and a C5 or C6 nib.

It depends on what music I'm playing and how well my car is running. http://www.58vw.com

Hi Lemorris,

Just wondering what company makes this kind of paper?

As always your drawings look awesome.

Hey Al!!

The paper is made by:

Borden & Riley

40 sheets of 11 x 14 cost me $10.60

One of my comic friends turned me onto it.
