WW Front Bumper Fitment Woes?

Alright, i got the bumper, and i def. think that its a fake WW front bumper but not sure, i put it on and it was a pain getting the 2 screws on each side on each wheel well, but its on, im not really impressed because i have nasty gaps between the headlight and the bumper, anyone have this issue?.....what could i do to make these gaps go away?, ive looked at countless pictures of a hatch with this bumper on it and a majority of them don't that a huge gap like mine does

Re: WW Front Bumper Fitment Woes?

Some of them are notorious for having that gap between the headlights and bumper, mine has a gap under one of the headlights. I thought mine was fake til i called WW and gave them an accurate description of the part numbers behind the bumper and it came to be real. Here is a pic of the gap on the drivers side head light. As far as i know there really is no way to fix it unless you feel like going through too much trouble.

Re: WW Front Bumper Fitment Woes?

thats how the one I bought was. I just sold it to my BF who is getting it put on his hatch. The body shop that he is taking it to says that they can get it to fit right.

It took a lot of work with the Dremel, but mine fits fine. On the other hand, my buddy just put the same kit on his hatch & has the gap problem?

I wonder if it's a problem between the '88-89 & '90-91's. Mine is a '90 & the bumper fits perfect, but my friend's is a '89 & his bumper sags underneath the headlights...

Re: WW Front Bumper Fitment Woes?

The only gap that my Si has is underneath the drivers' side corner lamp.

Almost all aftermarket bumpers need custom fitment.
It is pretty damn rare to get one to bolt up. And if it does consider yourself very lucky
