turn signal
alright, i asked this before, and only one person said they had the problem, so i'm guessing its not a 5th gen or prelude defect. my turn signals will NOT disengage automatically. i bought my lude used, so its possible the original owner broke the "thingy" that makes the signals turn off. so my question is...what the heck is that "thingy" called so i can have it repaired or replaced?
i could just ask a mechanic in the area, but they'll probably tell me i need a new steering column, rack & pinion, steering wheel, p/s pump, battery, alternator, and pistons, along with muffler bearings, and the spark plugs and pistons to my "diesel rotary" engine. in other words, i trust you guys 500% more than i do most mechanics. so wats the thingy called??

Re: turn signal
Since you asked so nicely, I'll try to help you out. My knowledge on the actual chassis is limited, but.. I think it is called simply, a headlight switch. It is mounted on the steering column with the windshield wiper switch. Most likely yours is damaged and you need a new one.
I certainly wouldn't trust us over a good mechanic

Re: turn signal
The automatic turn signal canceller should be in the switch, like aces said. If you have to take the steering wheel off, getting to it can be a pain in the ass. Here's a removal tutorial I found on NTPOG that explains how to remove a 5th gen steering wheel:
http://www.ntpog.org/mods/fifth-hub/fifth-hub.shtml ..and I wouldn't trust us either.
