Make your own Cold Air Intake

Has anyone done this on a 98 civic lx? my problem is that my throttle body is straight up, not to the side. Im thinking i can just cut the piping differently, but im not sure it will fit. If it doesnt fit, do u guys think i can use some silicone tubing for the 90 degree bend? thanks

i have the same ?... has anyone done this on a prelude yet? im wondering if ill need more pipe.
