Rear suspension bushings...??
Alright, I had a couple extra hours in class the other day so i decided to put on my rear struts and coilovers. The bolts holding the bottom of the strut to the control arm were of course seized so since i had new everything, I just cut it all out with a torch. The only problem is, now the bushings need to be replaced. Ive called around to numerous parts stores and no one sells replacement bushings for the rear lower control arm. I know some of you guys must have run into this before too, so whered you gets your bushings? Are their any online stores or anything? I dont have big bucks to spend at the dealership unless its absolutely necessary.

You can go to NOPI and get a complete bushing kit for like $150. It's a pain putting hte rear ones in though, you'll need a press.

Re: Rear suspension bushings...??
if you dont wanna do that, just run to the junk yard and pick up some used lower control arms for cheap...saves the hassle of installing new bushings.

www.hondaautomotiveparts.com I agree, control arms are much easier than bushings to change even with the right tools. |

Re: Rear suspension bushings...??
I had that happen too....I went to my local ALTROM for the bushings that the shock bolt went through.....and I got poly bushings for the other two spots...they came in a kit....You have to get the sleeves pressed out where the old bushings were...If you look closely there is a metal cylinder inside the hole for the bushing....it's on the outside of the bushing when you buy new ones...you have to get that pressed out or the new bushings won't go in....If there's an ALTROM in your town....the're great for very inexpensive parts....(Canada I mean) goto www.altrom.ca if you'd like to see what they offer....but the only do DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD...NO CASH.....
