Masters of the Universe

I was watching Masters of the Universe(1987) the other day and I spotted a new white mk2!

It's just after He-Man, Man-at-arms, sheela, and that other freaky looking short dude 'warp' to earth to escape castle greyskull near the beginning of the movie..(Im a child of the 80's, what can I say) You will see it parked in front of the BBQ fast food joint where Cortney Cox works.

Re: Masters of the Universe

Ohh damn, that's awesome!!! At one time or another there was a huge "Supra Spotted" thread on Supramania and Supraforums, we pretty much had all of them listed all the way back to 1987 lol. Never saw that one though, very nice find! The funniest TV sighting was either the one on real TV, where some guy with a MKIII drove into a chinese restuarant because he left it in park, totally destroyed the front of the store and the Supe escaped with some minor dents here and there. Or the car chase in California where this guy stole an N/A MKIII and eventually blew the HG while running from the cops ROFL!!

the "white" mkII you saw was actually a brand spanking new Light Blue Sapphire P-type w/ sunroof...I could prolly tell what tranny if I could get a closer look through the sunroof.

However, there is a white mkII in "The Fast and the Furious"
pic:

There is a black mkII in "Head of State" where everyone is running out of their houses, you can see it in a driveway, on the right hand side of the screen.

Also, Back to the Future; a brand new 1985 P-type, same light blue
here's a pic:

Inspector Gadget:

Lots of other movies too, but I don't have pics

While watching late-night tv I spotted a pre 89MKIII in a movie called Sweet Sixteen(2003). It has such a HEAVY scottish accent subtitles are a must. Anyway somebody steals it from a friend I belive and goes joy riding, then crashes it though a window..

I belive it, the car looked like it was rolled right off the showroom floor.
