Yah, I get emotional just thinking about it. And there not F1 cars, they are Champ cars, with turbo'd V8's with 900+hp, as opposed to NA V10's with 800+hp (some are worse, like Minardi)

I heard the fast and the furious' cars, were justwatered down base models with flashy stuff attached. Like a RS eclipse, damn..... it was smokin :bonghitte hehe, wrong smokin. But I will find the thread I saw that on and try and post it.

I saw Driven today. I wasn't all that impressed. The special effects looked fake. Especially the flying wheel scene. It did have a few cool parts. I liked the street race and the part when Papis's car launched off the other one. The actual racing scenes were pasted together with shots from different tracks. Some of which were from both oval and road courses. Stalone's old girlfriend was really annoying, but probably the only hot chick, besides the race chicks, in the movie. She never seemed to stop smiling. Overall I'd give it a B. It's worth seeing, but I wouldn't pay $6.50 to see it again.

another good movie i saw this weekend on tv was the patriot ..where mel gibson is fighting in the civil war . Now thats a really good movie even though it has not a thing to do with cars
