Thumbs up Bangle Design

I dont get why everyone's ragging on the new 745, i personally think it looks great. it'll definitely get noticed on the road, and not in an pontiac aztek/scion xB way. the only thing i would change on it is that rear strip of tail-light across the trunk, but other than that, i could even go as far as saying i even admire the duck-like trunk!

by the way- has anyone here ever used iDrive? im kinda curious about it...

Hmm,

Let me do a real wild guess, your father bought you the M3?

Most people who have earned the money to buy BMW, realize bangle made some very ugly POS cars.

The fact you felt you needed to make a message on this forum means many others hate bangle the same way.

And yes they are in the Aztec class.

And yes I really like BMW and have three, I bought.

Later,

Thumbs down

I simply don't like the look of the new 745 cars. Why? Because they look like Nissans. The look better fits the 5-series cars but they still look too much like a Nissan Maxima.

3-series: sporty
5-series: sporty elegance
7-series: elegant.

That's my 2-cents worth.

The E65 is a superior vehicle in terms of technology, ride comfort, handling, etc. I drove my sister-in-law's 745 and found the car to handle very well for such a large car. I WISH my E38 had the E65's suspension.

On the other hand...Aesthetically it is an abomination. The criminal Van Hooeydonk drew it, Bangle approved the design and BMW bought into it.

As for getting noticed on the road...An Edsel will get you noticed and so will a Ferarri Enzo. Which would you rather be seen driving?

Cars represent a variety of factors when it comes to selecting one. Utility, economy, cost, performance, etc all have a part in the selection process.
Before I write a check for upwards of 80k for a car, a significant issue for me is I HAVE TO LIKE THE CAR'S LOOKS.

Drive safe

what, people cant have opinions anymore? Kid likes the car, why is that indicative of him being spoiled.
Also, i suggest you either update your picture or burn those three bricks of SH_T you call BMW's. what are you like 90 years old? And get a real dog.

Not that you need any reassurance, KC Ron Carter, but I think your collection of BMW's is great. I had an '86 528e (Polaris Silver) myself, and the '80's BMW's are so solidly engineered. Oh, and I saved for quite a few years to purchase it--that was my first car.

I too find it hard to appreciate the new line of Bangle's BMW's. Stylingwise, I most like the '92-'99 3-Series, '97-'03 5-Series, and '95-'01 7-Series.
