Not sure....... nah it's a 3Door Mito Natto Racing Version The reason I bought it is because I was fooled by the pic and thought it came with th TRD spoiler. If you got any questions on it, just ask

Hono, I came across this thread while doing a "Mustang Cobra engine" search!!
Looks like your conversion is going to be money!
Where did you get those Cobra R style wheels?
Anyway, I want to find a Ford "cammer" crate engine similar to the one used in the V8 Focus RS. I'm doing a Focus transplant and aI also wan tot drop the sam engine into my '65 Conti. I figured the Revell Mustang Cobra kit engine would be the best.

so any progress onthis Cobra R???

I'm not too sure what the "cammer" motor is, so I'm afraid I can't really help you at the moment.

The wheels for this car are Fujimi's Volk Racing wheels. Currently, the car sits waiting to be modified and assembled. I think I'll be able to bring the project back up in a couple of months, so keep an eye out.

Cammer is a 5.0 SOHC (or DOHC..I forget). Has 400HP in N/A form, and it appeared at SEMA this year.

Got some progress!!!
Front bumper got some real basic work, needs more stylene and putty that will hopefully get done by tomorrow.

I think I'm enjoying this build because I wanted to build a contemporary car, but also be an American mucsle car!

Well, now on to the hood!

Well guys, I'm adding more work for myself! I've decided to give a shot on the rims:

Currently trying to modify the kit rims.... too bad I don't have resin molding supplies, or else I would only have to do the rim mods once.

Gveman, thanks for the link, not only do I see a few useful pics but also got all the info about the car!

Well, any help/advice about the rims would be great. It's being a pain so far!

Looks very good! As far as the rims go, I would look for some sort of pegasus sleeve to fit the it.

Cool

A friend of mine made this Cobra R, these are the only pics I have of it. He did a good job, lots of work for sure.
