cant make a decision

hey,

I am looking to buy a 90-96 300zx tt or a 3rd gen rx-7. I cant decide which one i want. THe rx-7 is all around a better sports car and i like its power to weight ratio. but hte Z has more horsepower potential and it would be easier to find one. Also i could find one for less than a rx-7 would cost. I was jsut wondering what u guys though. if u would go wiht hte rx-7 or the Z.

Re: cant make a decision

I rebuilt 2 13B engines this summer... Let me tell you, those things are much easier to work on, apposed to the VG30DETT. Granted, the FD3S has much more problems consistently than the TT... I would go with TTZ. But it comes down to your personal preference. Peace foo's (TTZ has more power too.. haha)

Re: cant make a decision

No, you should definitely go with the RX-7. They are rarer, at least around here, but I think you'll be happier in the end. My best friend had a 2 seat '92 300ZX auto w/active suspension. It was awesom, he loved it, but even he would get an RX-7.

Re: cant make a decision

Well... They arent that rare around here, there are about 3 dozen Z's in the town, 2 dozen FD's, a dozen Supra's, and about 2 dozen VR-4's. Then again my town is a little rich town, shit, Michael Jordan was born and raised here, and he resides here its so nice. Shit, our High School is named after him. Anyways, I was just saying its a pretty upscale town, so that may be the reason for the numbers. But dont go with the FD man, theyre tough to work on (while the engine is in the car that is) if you are mechanically inclined, go for it... If not... Pick other cars, both the ZTT and FD3S are tough shits to work on. Peace foo's (maybe a 1995 240sx? I can give you some sweet info there too)
