budget lowering

I was wondering if any one could lend some insight on cheap lowering of a 1999 cavalier. I dont wanna chop the springs cause that kills ride quality and looks stupid. I was thinking of coilovers but not quite sure. I'm goinig for a 3" drop. please help thanx!

You're prolly better off getting a set of springs from Eibach.com - those things that "do it yourself" are very very dangerous.

Re: budget lowering

are you talking about coilovers. If you are how do you figure that they are dangerous. Coilovers will be your best bet. Lowering springs are not adjustable. Once you put them on that will be your ride height untill you put new springs on.

Re: budget lowering

Methinks curbie is talking about those POS clampy things that like to fly off and decapitate people or drop off and instantly raise one corner of your car...
