Cool 91 GT-S into 91 All-Trac Turbo

Hello forum,
I am going to do an engine swap with a 3sgte engine soon, and was wondering if i could make my front wheel drive GTS turn into an all wheel drive all-trac. My mechanic tells me its possible, but I wanted to double check with you guys.
ALso do you know how much it should be to do such a conversion, considering that I will find the transmission and all the parts?
Thanx
Dario

Horibily expensive, you'd be better off selling the GTS and buying an AllTrac
