Air Pressure Sensors??

I am installing new wheels this weekend and was wondering if anyone knows if the DIC will freak out because the wheels will not be sending the air pressure readings?? If so is there a way to turn off the DIC after I install my new wheels?

Thanks

Re: Air Pressure Sensors??

It won't freak out, but it will spit out the "Service Tire Monitor" message every time you start the vehicle. Just press the steering wheel button to acknowledge it and it'll go away...until the next time you start the vehicle.

I think you'll need to reprogram the computer using a TechII tool in order to "permanently" disable the message.
