Question 1998 Sunfire acting strange

My 1998 Sunfire has about 85,000 miles and I recently got a tune up. I am not quite sure what they actually did to it, just that I paid them 600 dollars to do that and the serpentine belt and the brakes, and an oil change. Now, the car does this new thing where at 3500 RPMS the temp guage drops and the car acts wierd, like it loses power for a sec, and it does that utnil I let off the accellerator. Any Ideas?

better explanation...Any help out there?

Ok, I heard it described a better way maybe, it seems to hesitate and even "stumble" at 3500 rpms. And today, it did it at lower speeds and rpms, but even at consistent slower speeds and while accelerating. It is raining today, and I don't know if that is coincidence, and it just got worse, or if it is because of the rain. I jsut got a tune up, then it started doing this. They overfilled my oil, and I know that is bad. Could that have damaged the engine?
(of course they also say that when they take some oil out, it reads even more ... ???? what?????)
Any Help out there?
