Talking woohoo, new set up for my car

Well i got a new motor, the Reedy MVP, and a new battery, a 8-cell pack of 2400. The MVP looks to be the best all around motor in the stock class, better all around than the Rage which it replaces, more torque than the Green Machine 3, and higher RPM's than a P2K. my 8-cell battery is done charging after close to like an hour and a 1/2 so im about to go out to the parking lots right now and test the new motor and battery. it should go about 50 mph, not the fastest its gone or will go, but a good start for a parking lot.hopefully it will be fast as hell, which im sure it will be. well im off.

8 cell 2400? I'm guessing you bought 8 individual cells and made them into a pack, because I didn't know they made anything above 7 cell packs. Anyway, what car is it going on? Also, why not just get a mod motor? I don't think you can hit 50 with a stock motor. That bettery is going to die quicker than a 6 cell battery will.

no, i didnt make this one. I bought it down in toledo and i got a deal on it too. It lasted about 1/2 hour, which is longer than my 6 cells. course my 6 cells are 2000, not 2400, i have 1 pack of old generation 3000, but i dont count those cause they arent that good especially with the newest generation out. Id rather compete in the stock class for racing, less chance of people cheating, even though they still do. My tires would break lose at almost any speed so i wasnt able to see how fast it could go. Its in my parma pan car. My gear ratio is about 5.46 and the motor turn about 29700 RPM. i also have an equation that gives u an estimate for speed if anyone is interested, but it doesnt take roling friction or drag into account so it is possiable top speed.

Your battery lasts half an hour? Are you guessing that time, or are you timing it? I've never heard of a battery going that long.

it was around 4:15 when i started running and about 4:45 when i stopped, but that was with a few short inspection breaks to make sure my chasis wasnt scraping the ground and checking to make sure my gear mesh was right. the inspections were no more than 30 seconds each. Next time ill time my run.

i doubt that you can get 50mph out of a stock motor. i ran 7 cells on my over clocked 11 turn. and that baby spins at 37,000 rpm. i barely break 40mph. and i own a TC3 as well. hmmmmmmmmm

lerts see, TC3 compared to a pan car, you tell me what the difference is between the two chasis. I did 60 with a 14 turn that was worse in every catagory than this stock motor, and im also using 8 of the highest voltage cells out there. You tell me what you think. btw, the 60 mph run was done with a 6 cell 1500 pack.
