97 Acmry Water Leak

I have a water leak coming from the passenger side door. It leaks around the top corner like it is coming from the door or furhter back. I had the top of the windshield resealed and the molding placed back on. That did not work. Could it be coming from the sunroof then making its way down the sheet metal? I can track the water back to the corner of the windshield but that is as far back I as I can see. Does anybody have some direction on how to take the head liner out so I can see if it is coming from the sunroof? I would hate to pay a body shop $36 an hour to look for a leak. I would appreciate any help.

I have the same problem. A mechanic told me the water came from sun roof. And it will cost a lot to fix it.

The Sunroof has 4 drain tubes, one on each corner.... Try running a stiff wire down each in case they may be plugged with derbis...

Be care running a wire down the drain tubes. Make sure the end has some tape around it to keep it from poking a hole in it.

if you take down the front pillar panel , the one to the right of the windshield, and remove the handle on the roof above the door, you should be able to lower the headliner enough to see the sunroof drain, should be able to disconnect and clean,
if you have access to an air line, i usually use compressed air, carefully blow some air down the 4 holes on the sunroof track, and that will usually clear them out,

I have my headliner down on my 94 Camry, the 4 tubes are clear (sort of).....
I am trying to get the slider out to put new cloth on, anyone know how to do this????
