Lights Turning on by them selves even when off

I have a 2000 grand cheeroke and the lights sometimes will turn on during the middle of the day or night even when the keys are not in the vehicle. Also sometimes during twilight hours hitting the turn signal will cause the lights to turn on then off as if the light sensor is shorting out or something. Not sure if these two items are related or not.

If you have auto headlamp feature, and leaving it in the auto position, replace the multifunction switch. That is what is causing all your problems.
