Re: 92 prelude si factory rims on 92 accord??
Just make sure the bolts match, 4 or 5 bolts, it should work, there is nothing you have to change if the bolts match

there is alot more to it thatn 4 or 5 bolts srv boy.
you need to make sure than the offset of the rim is correct or they will rub, and also just because it is 4 or 5 bolt doesn't mean it will fit the bolt pattern is usuually measured like this 4x100 or 4x110 etc. the 100 and 110 and various other numbers you'll see is i believe the span diagonally across from one bolt to the other EX: ->o o o o<- measure in mm between the two bolts with arrows and you get the second number, first number is obviously how many bolts. I'm not sure how they measure it on 5 lugs? if useing stock rims you probably won't have to worry about offset. I know what the offset is but i'm having a hard time thinking of how to explain it right now... so if anyone else wants to field that one... best i can do is say that it is how far in or out the actual rim and tire will actually sit on the hub. in other words how far the tire will stick out or stick inside the fender

Re: 92 prelude si factory rims on 92 accord??
Your making it sound too complicated, your are right and I am wrong, but just try to put on the tires, if the car drives fine then your ok. He is just putting some tires on a car.

shut up srvboy... you don't know anything about cars so stop trying to give advice.... this guy did not specify whether or not he already had the new rims in his possesion. if he did already have them then yes he could have just tried to put them on, but like i said he didn't express that, therefore i was telling him the simplest way of determining how to see if they would fit without actually having the rims. why waste money on something if it won't fit right. And besides it isn't comlpicated at all and i think it is alot easier to take a ruler and simply check the distance between bolts rather than jack up the car, take the old tire off, try and fit the new tire, etc...
