removal of oil cooler lines

Okay I have a 1997 blazer 4wd. So as with other common problems my oil cooler lines are leaking. I've read the other posts but I'm still confused. how do you remove the oil cooler lines from the fittings or do you have to remove the fitting along with the lines. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: removal of oil cooler lines

Yea, the fittings are usually what leaks. The ones that enter the radiator. The fittings come on the form fitted hoses, if your gonna replace yourself, simply drain the oil, disconnect the leaking line, connect the new one and refill. The fittings are part of the hose itself.
