*2000 Civic Ex Problems/Questions*

Hey I have been havin a few problems with mah car. I don't know a lot about cars and don't really know how to fix stuff, so plz help! My brakes are squealing... Do I need to take my car to the place and get them to fix them, or is there something I can do to solve the problem? Also, my clutch and gas pedal are really loose. Can I fix that? Last thing... I installed some different gauges ( I think they are indiglow or w/e but I'm not sure :S Sorry! ) and they will work fine and then all the sudden they will just turn off. Then, all the sudden they will turn back on. Also, sometime they flicker. What does that mean and how can I fix it? Anyway, I appreciate any help I can get and PLEASE explain in very basic terms. Otherwise, I probably won't know what u are talking about! Thanks SO much and sorry this was so long! Bai Guyz!

Re: *2000 Civic Ex Problems/Questions*

for the brakes, sounds like you need new pads. Go get a Helms manual for your car, or download one and replace them yourself, it's an easy fix. I don't know what to say about your clutch and gas pedal. For the gauges, take them out and make sure all of your connections are tight. It just sounds like a loose connection to me.

BTW Get your rotors resurfaced while you are changing out the brake pads.

As for brakes...Yeah, I think you need to change them...dont forget to resurface the rotors as GScivic7 said.
