Angry Antitheft Deterrent

I own a Sunfire 1997 2.2L, 4 doors sedan and occasionnally (too many times for me) the antitheft light goes on and I cannot start the car. I want to know how to disable this feature because I already have a remote starter installed with antitheft feature on it. Thanks for your help

AJ

Re: Antitheft Deterrent

You can't. More than likely the installer of the remote start did not use a high quality bypass or bypass method and it's tripping the computer at times. You should notice this happening in the same weather conditions because resistors/wires can change resistance a bit when it is extremely cold or hot.
