Exhaust upgrade. 97' Acura Integra LS
Hello, I am a new member here.
I have a 97' Acura Integra LS 4dr. sedan. It has a stock B18B engine. I plan on converting my engine to vtec by changing the head and whatever the kit does. I think cold air kits and maybe headers are differnt for vtecs right? So i wanted to put all upgrades on hold untill I can get the vtec conversion. BUT I'de like to get a new exhaust because I dont THINK it has any effect if your integra is vtec or not. I am pickey about my exhaust sound, I prefer a deeper (purring) import muffle sound, not a tin can rice rocket!! I basically need you people to help me out to find a great sounding exhaust for my integra. I guess I want it kinda quiet, deffintly not so loud it is annoying to others around you. A low purring import muffle sounds right, with a nice power tone behind it. My car is lowered a tad. is 2.5" or 3" more beneficial, if not those sizes which would be best. Price: moderate Thank you. |

Re: Exhaust upgrade. 97' Acura Integra LS
hey Cims, I have '95 sedan LS and looking for catback exhaust too.
i want an exhaust that isn't too loud and is designed for street so that i won't lose tons of torque for everyday driving. I decided after research, that APEXi World Sport 2 is what i'm planning to get. However they make it for GSR Sedan model, will it fit on my LS Sedan? By the way i was looking at the Greddy SP2 but i didn't like the funky lip tip, APEXi WS2 looks better and costs less. |
