me and this dumb kid are having a little dispute... i said that a 240sx with and rb25det would be faster than the r32gtr simply because of the weight differance... what do you guys think?

that is if we are comparing a stock S13 with a STOCK rb25 to a stock GTR, I beliieve the GTR will win. Modded s13 vs stock GTR prolly 240sx, mod for mod GTR.....

280hp with AWD should own a lighter car with 250hp, RWD, open diff, and small ass rear tires.

The Gtr Will Win Hands Down. Its Only 300lbs Heavier Than A S13 W/ Rb25det
And With Over 50 More Chp It Will Leave A 240sx No Problem. Plus With Awd Its 60' Will Be Way Better.

Honestly, it would really depend on your driving skills. If we are talking quarter mile acceleration, the 240 definitley has a chance. This is because of the traction system in the GT-R.

If a very skilled driver is driving the GT-R, it would probly win. When launching, you have to bring it close to 7000 rpm and drop the clutch...ATESSA-PRO does the rest. A little under the magic number and it bogs, a little over and you get too much wheelspin. But if you can exploit ATESSA-PRO, you can make a GT-R run low 13s stock. If not, it's more like high 13s to low 14s.
If you can launch your RB25 240 decently, you should be into 13s. Conclusion: depends on the drivers. If you listen to people who tell you to put in an LSD, clutch, better tires, and a FMIC when you install the RB...you will definitley take the GT-R with some skill.

dont know what the gtr runs... i think it would be fairly close.
