1969 Shelby GT500 rebuild

A few of you might remember this when my friend built it on dubs
It was stripped of its wheels and it sat in a box for nearly a year, seeming I have no models to continue building now I decided to take it out last night and start fixing it up. Here are some before photos so far.

Chassis/exhaust/diff

Disgusting engine

No detail interior

Bumpers/grille/lights

Body

Some photos of what got done last night, later on today.

Re: Re: 1969 Shelby GT500 rebuild

You can get the 69' Shelby GT500 in a combo 3 n 1' kit. Or AMT has the 68 gt500 which is a nice car.

Progress part 2

Some more, I am planning gloss orange, that is why some of the underbody is gloss orange. Just a simple rebuild, nothing fancy.

Sick, dude, the interior looks a million times better already, what kind of rims you putting on? how about some 17 inch torque thrusts?

Re: 1969 Shelby GT500 rebuild

Haha I magically lowered the front by having no front suspension (model is not complete yet, far from)
I'm just going to use those wheels on it now, got no money to go out and buy more kits/wheels.
Jonno, you know I get bored man.......
