open recall

hello all impala pals,just discovered that there is an open recall on my 2000 ls,engine coolant leak, anyone have same? is this a major repair?open to all advice! V

I am going to advise that you contact the Chevy dealer in your area with the recall bulletin number and see what they have to say.

Being an open recall usually means that it either hasn't been done to your car yet or that it is to be done on an as needed basis.

Make sure you know where you stand about ANY customer paid costs that might be involved before you let them perform the recall service.
