New Fujimi Diablo models... buy it or not?

The new Lamborghini Diablo kits by Fujimi seems to be quite a good surprise: it's nearly a completely new kit!
I found a review here: http://www50.tok2.com/home2/carmodel...new_diablo.htm

With the new body pieces, it seems that Fujimi can do now every version of the Diablo!....

May dreams of an 1/24 SE 30 Jota come true one day?

or ?

indeed, it seams to be a very nice kit, although based on the previous lambo kits, but this times with the doors close, but with some skill it can be made doors opened and even the front opened.
as the door opening mechanism seems to be still the same as the former kits, so with both of those lambo kits, some fireworks can be exected.

also, fujimi is coming out with the 99 version of this kit which boasts 300 zx style headlamps, so virtually every version of the lambo can be made . With the exception of the wide fendered GTR and latest secial editions. But I m pretty confident that wont be a problem too.

thing is to get my greedy hands on some of those kits.

But the main question that comes to mind is = is the difference of price between the deluxe version and the normal version justifiable in the fact that the deluxe version offers black SV decals -instead of the orange ones of the standard- and a rather meagre PE set.

Hopefully somebody of the aftermarketbranch will sense this and throw a more complex PE set on the market.

Expect a full report and review of both kits soon -I hope-

Re: New Fujimi Diablo models...

I'm very impressed with the new edition. Virtually, all the flaws of the previous kit are corrected. (i.e. rocker panels, interior etc.) This is more than expected. I'm buying more than one. There's a limited edition version with PE parts for only 400 yen more. Don't wait or you'll regret later.

Wow! Updated body and interior without those stupid opening doors, that rocks!

Re: New Fujimi Diablo models...

hmm... what's so stupit about those openable doors?
the 99 version had another dash, sad that they didn't molt it this time instead of using the old one again...
