dude, im trying to get more people to join Team Lonely Drivers, trying to get local chapters going, kinda hard to do. We already have stickers made, but doesn't do any good when your ride is stock.

I'm in the Tulsa area myself. I hang out with the guys at Green Country Motorsports sometimes... used to do the Oklahoma Speed thing but got tired of their "lets cruise memorial" attitude.

Color me a fan of opentracking - I hit Hallett when I can afford it!

Hallett is a blast, you really learn how much fun it can be to take your car to its and your own limits. But it can also be expensive.

I think I average $120 for a trip... entry fee, gas, all that. Still worth it to me, just cannot afford it right now.

Im not a fan of air ride anything. I prefer suspension that has a racing motivation, not for lowering. But I do see quite a few air ride stickers on cars around.

A new shop opened on sheridan at like 30th next to QT recently, Speed Shop. Never been in it.

Best shop in town is gran prix auto hands down tho.

Re: Anyone from OK?

This is an old thread that i just ran accross but....

1fastteg: me and my friends cruise 39th on fridays and saturday nights then at about 12 we head to memorial road.... and watch ....*ehm* people drive up and down that street... mildly fast if ya catch muh drift.

Tony: still have that car club going? if so, how's it going? need some OKC/Moore members?

Also this is a shout out to all the import pwners with fast rides.....its march (almost) already and in just about another month Thundervally (Noble) will be opening its lanes to the "sport compact" crowd... last year was a desent turn out, this year it would be great to see some more faces and some more really fast imports...there was a quick DSM and a Drag Hatch, this year we're hoping to see some modified RSX's, RX-8's, 350z's, and maybe a RB25Det will blaze up and down the track. I know of at least 2 new CRX's with fresh motors waiting to race!

Re: Anyone from OK?

Yea, still got the club going, we kinda died down, bunch of other shit to worry about, plus I got another ride, 95 240sx that i gotta whip into shape. Im guessing your from OKC, and we could use some more members, thats our biggest problem, not enough people representing.
