Angry Side mirror replacement

Just wondering if anyone knows how to go about replacing the manual side mirror on a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. I'm pretty sure you have to take the door panel off, and there are tiny tweeter speakers right where the mirror bolts on inside the door. I didn't want to get into it until I found out for sure what I was dealing with. Thanks.

Re: Side mirror replacement

the panel pops off with a screwdriver where the manual switch is located on the door to control the mirror. Otherwise, if you take the door panel off, it will not ruin anything as the panel comes off quiet easily.

yeah i had to replace both of my side mirrors as well as the rearview. anyway the side mirrors are easy to replace but you have to be careful that when the mirror comes off it doesnt hit the car because its a bitch trying to get that shit off. anyway you pop off the tiny speaker and it pops off really easy, then just unscrew the mirror and replace it. there are a few wires involved but they just have to be disconnected its easy after all that =)
