New "Turbo Max" video

I picked this up off a link on anohter part of the forum. This is Harold's(HLH051 off Maxima.org) most recent turbo video. And I must say this car is SICK!!! 475 whp, 505 tq. Turbo, MEVI, all the goodies. With STOCK transmission and almost all interior/exterior parts remaining. Just sick. I like his car alot, but it sure as hell ain't gonna last much longer and I have heard some complaints about his character.

How long would the VQ30DE motor last with a t3t4 setup with the boast at 10psi? That seems a lot for the max. I was planning on getting a turbo for my 97 max and setting the boast to 6psi. How much boast can the max take?

i was told that it would be safe to run 6-7 lbs of boost on stock internals and would be good for 265-270 fwhp.

FYI, Hal has sold his car on EBAY for 12k or so, he blew an intake manifold so he got rid of it.

Plus I believe he wanted something different anyway.

that really doesn't seem much. i might be looking into getting a supercharged or turbo max next year for under 10k. i have seen supercharged max's with rims and etc. for around 8k. that doesn't seem bad at all, they are such great cars.

Actually he sold it for 12k with the blown manifold, so I'll say he got a good deal, plus whoever bought it will have the fastest Maxima in the U.S. once he fixes the manifold.

Nope. The fastest Max in the US belongs to Nigel. He has a SC setup and laid down a 11.87 at the track, I believe.

well the ebay site says 12.4 with regular tires high 11's with slicks, if it's not the fastest, it's defintely making the most power of any maxima.

12.4 @ 121mph on stock tires+wheels, spraying 3rd+4th only
Good for low 11's @ 126mph with traction (slicks)

that maxima is crazy. if i had that car the only thing i would change is that it would be a manual transmission. can someone tell me the songs that are in the video.

it is a manual. a stock nissan auto tranny would've been done long ago.

the first song is by Baby from the hot boyz (they suck big balls), it's called do that dance or sexy momma or something like that. the last song is "get it on the floor" by DMX and Swizz Beats.
