carbon fiber hood?

maybe this is a dumb question, but i have a CF hood...
do i need to put the heat shield on it underneath the hood or since it's carbon fiber it doesnt need one?

will it be fine w/o it?

i never even heard of what ur talkin about. I have a CF hood with a turbo, so it gets hot, but i'm fine...i think you'll be fine. See what others have to say too!

the heat shield im talking about is the one that is on your factory/stock hood...
