99 Sebring JXi Coupe Remote Starter

I just had a Valet 562t remote starter with keyless entry installed on my 99 Sebring JXI -Coupe. It works fine most of the time. After dark 3 different times I have had trouble with it. It will not start the car and when i unlock the door the horn honks and the lights flash for about 3 minutes. Then when I get to where I am going and turn off the car again the horn honks and the lights flash for about 3 minutes. Then in the morning I go out to the car and everything is fine again. I have taken it back to Highland Auto Parts where it was installed and they can't find any problems. They did not hook anything up to the horn so they don't see how it is their problem, Does this car come with Keyless entry when purchased new? I bought the car used and so I don't know if it did. Can anyone pleeeeeease help me?

Well, I am pretty sure that you do not have one of those Sentry keys. So, my guess is that they didn't hook up the alarm disarm wire in the door harness. It is a green/white wire that when it sees a (-) pulse, it will disarm the alarm without unlocking it. Next time it goes nuts, see if you can disarm it by unlocking the driver's door with your key in the door. Or, roll down your window, lock the doors and look at the security light. Wait until that goes out or starts to blink(I forget which) then reach in and unlock the door manually and open it. The alarm should go nuts AND you should be able to shut it off by hitting unlock on the remote start or remote starting it. If it doesn't work, they missed it.
