Question New to R/C cars... ? about CEN's CT4S

I have just recently become hooked into this hobby and could use a little help. My first thought was to buy an electric car and I was looking at team Losi cars. I figured that if I wanted to upgrade to gas then I would at a later date. DUMB!!! I know I will want more power and the ability to get faster....so gas it is.
I was checking out cenracing.com and they say they have a new CEN CT4S car that will go 70+ MPH out of the box. They even have a video showing a stock car going 73.4 MPH using a speed gun on it in a parking lot. Their site also says they will have a conversiion kit out soon that will enable it to go 80+ MPH.
Does anyone have a CEN car and if so how do you like it?

I am willing to spend about $400..... give or take $50. Where should I look for the best quality car for that price. I have absolutely nothing right now. I like the 1/10 scale, on-road cars.

Thanks alot for the help!

I must admit the first time i saw the CT4 i thought it was made by somebody else like Mugen,Yokomo etc.. i would have to say that CEN got this one right, previous CEN gas cars were the biggest heap of JUNK, i cant describe them any other way, but the CT4 has changed my opinion on them, this car isnt bad considering the amount of goodies that you get with it. its hightly tuneable eg camber,caster,2 speed etc... word of warning though, if you have never had a proper RC model jusmpin straight into nitro cars can cause a lot of heart break for some, these are not like electric cars where you plug and play, there are a lot of maintenance involved with them and make sure that you run in and tune your engine correctly. I have had a lot of experience with these cars and things can easily go wrong if you dont follow the instructions and basic maintenance.

Anyway I would say go for this car as long as you really know what your in for, make sure that your local hobby shop carries or can order parts for this car.

Another comment is, i would not buy this car if it is your first one, that is extermly fast adn you can get into trouble very easily with a car like that. Also, with a car like that, dont skimp on your transmitter, and a good strong throttle servo to stop a vehicle going that fast.
