The most powerful man in the world started the Daytona 500? Who the hell is that? PC Nerds and homosexuals huh? I guess we can classify you as a pc nerd since you had to be on one to take your time to post here. People like us who dispise Nascar is b/c there is no point in driving around in a big oval. Its so popular b/c most Americans are too lazy to follow something like F1 racing. Their minds can't handle the overload of stimulation.

Oh and it's far more difficult to set up a F1 car up than it is to set up a Nascar.

They set up Nascars?

F1 cars are more technologically advanced than nascars. I don't think nascars can pull more than 3 G's and drive upside down on a ceiling going faster than 200 MPH (aerodynamics). An F1 car can do a quarter mile AND A HALF in 9 seconds... in rain. But the technology of the cars is'nt what makes it good for some people, some people don't care that nascars still run on old pushrod engines. And some people don't care that nascar engineers probably cant build an engine that has 12 cylinders, and revs up to 18K RPM.

Altough I respect nascar racing, I think there's no better series better than Cart. Cart is like F1, exept they dont have power steering, paddle shifters, and they run in America (more differences, but those are the 3 I think are worth mentioning).

I'm not gonna bash nascar racing and tell you that F1 is better, it's a matter of opinion. You like oval racing? good for you, watch all you want, make sure you get a good glimse of the advertisements on the cars. Nascar= 4 hour long commercial.
