No Power to the blower motor
Blower motor was working fine and then all of a sudden it stopped working all together, Blower motor fuse ok, have power to electronic heater control however no power to the resistor or motor but if you run a hot wire to the motor it works. Have also tried replacing the relays. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: No Power to the blower motor
I have a problem on my 97, it will eat the switches, and actually melt them. The problem is the regulator for the blower motor. You now have to buy the entire climate control peice to get a new switch. Replace the regulator while you are at it.

Re: No Power to the blower motor
A 1991 Chevy C70 which has the same dash as the Chevy pickup. I have figured out that there were a couple fuse's blown that were marked under accessory however the blower only has one speed, which is on high.

Re: No Power to the blower motor
If you have just high blower, your blower resistors are burned out. Its a plug that mounts in the duct work that reduces the power going to your blower motor to get slower speeds. I just did mine, the part cost about $20.

Re: No Power to the blower motor
After two weeks of looking into this, I finally found out that my problem was the heater control circuit board had a short which blew a fuse listed under accessory that I didn't realize was connected to the heater itself, had this replaced with a new heater control circuit board and now everything works great!
