Sorry but this isn't the case. The roof and front end really don't get very dirty at all unless you have been following another car. The rear panel and screen do get filthy though.

I thought the front and top looked too clean also until I saw your reference picture.

Great job! It came out very nicely.

Damn right Zeljko. We seem to have this discussion on a regular basis! There are so many variables involved, literally thousands of different levels of "muddiness", depending on what point in the stage/leg/rally you are trying to represent.

Consider for instance a "superspecial" stage that lasts about a minute and a half. Before action begins the car is gleaming and clean, fresh out of service. 90 seconds later it has finished the course through the mud, only those parts that have directly been splashed will be dirty, leaving the bonnet, roof and windows still sparkling.

Oh and the Subie looks fantastic! The auxiliary lights on the front hide most of the ugliness of the "frog face"
