Bottom Line on Clunks, Barks & Thuds?

I have a stock 01' Ext. SB w/30000 mi. I just purchased the truck a few months ago. I have owned several 00', 01' Suburbans, so I was semi familiar with the driveline noises. I must say that this truck is so much worse, almost cant stand to drive it. It barks (not wheelspin) when you accelerate from a stop, it clunks when you stop, it thuds when you turn right. I have read & read post after post about these problems, but have not read the cause or solution. Except that the dealer and/or GM obviously is not going to be any help. Does anyone have any insight into this, has anyone fixed there own driveline clunks? I am desperate to find a solution to this, my (new) truck is driving me batty! Also Have tranny concerns, it seems to always be in the middle of two gears. When you coast & the accelerate it studders like it cant find the right gear. When you hard accelerate to pass, it feels like a double downshift, really strange. Anyone have any help they can lend me? You guys run a good forum here, keep up the good work.

I have a 99 silverado, that I just recently found the cause for my "creeking"
I closely examined my leaf springs, and found two rubbing, at mid point
between U bolts and forward shackle on the driver side.
Rubbing was quit'd down by spraying with WD-40. Bad spring arching is the culprit on my truck.

As far as front end noise is concerned, mine is realatively quit, but there is a service bulletin 00-02-35-003B issued by chevy JAN 03 that pertains to your front end noise. It has the dealership relube your Intermediate stearing shaft with a speacial lube kit.

These may not solve your problems, but let's hope.
