Car died while in motion, now it wont start and alarm is going off!!

Alright, long story short i have had problems with the car since i bought it. its an 89 maxima. My friend was driving my car down the road one day and when you hit the gas you can hear like a pinging sound and then she hit the gas and the car like didnt get it, stalled and locked up, in the middle of driving! I had it towed home. Later, we tried to start it and the first time it made a sound but it wouldnt like turn over. After that try the alarm (which never worked on the car sense i bought it) for some reason started working and i dont know how to disable it becuase now the car wont even attempt to start. Im so confused and i just want my car to work! I have put a new battery and new ignition coil in, but i still dont understand what is wrong. If anyone could help me understand what is wrong that would be spectacular. thanks

i dunno if its same for the 89 maximas but my 93 if alarm goes off just put key in the door and unlock the door and it should disable/turn off the alarm..as for it not wanting to start, have your starter looked at..
