stealth mode sleeper

HI

i have a 1985 ford laser 4 door hatch. and i want to make it a sleeper, a familiar engine sounds good since ive heard there pretty much the same to the familiars ( the old ones ) I dont know much about cars but all my friends do. what would be a good engine to put in my baby to make it better. any help would be good. and also what priceses i might be looking at for the work.

y not get a 323 AWD turbo. Those things are deffinet sleepers. I dont really know the car that you are talking about so i cant help ya much.

I think the E5T engine drops right in. B6T with more mods.
btw, I think your car might be the same as the Mazda GLC...
