Joined a little while ago..lurked a bit..
I know quite a bit about cars..fix my own..

Needed another car..hatch/wagon..friend had good luck with her Escort Wagon..so I rooted around..for a dependable car FIRST!..balanced that against repair costs/parts..priced common parts/availability..problems.TONS! AND TONS!! of Escort wagons here where I am..plentiful parts/used too..

Bought a 93..wagon..auto,air,stereo,NICE! blue color..great shape!! original owner,paint,dealer mantainied,runs like new..

It gets 38 mpg Cdn city..and about 42 hwy..BEST car I've ever had on gas..I drive it 3 or 4 times a week skiing..about 180km away..110km hwy speed..even at .77 litre it has NEVER cost $15. for the trip up and back..
