Re: does anyone also belong to photoshopchop

Gentleman that disregard my respect for my members and for the photoshopping community obviouisly do not know me and therefore cannot make assumptions on advertisements on my site. I make little to no money from my site and most advertisements are from fellow webmasters that I know. For those of you that support me, thank you very much. Obviously some are jealous of what the site has turned into.

What I want to know is.......who the hell cares? Why is there competition among these photoshop sites? None of them are proffessionaly done....none of them collect money for advertising (and it Mrwilde does make money off the site, it bet it is less than $15/month). And if you do collect money from the site, I say good for you! There is no better "job" in the world than doing what you love and getting paid for it.

I've seen over 15 "Automotive Photoshop" sites come and go over the past couple years; each claiming to be the "best" or the "ultimate" site for automotive photoshopping. I havent seen ANYTHING even close to resembling an upscale site. Of these 15 or so chop sites, most of them choose to claim they have something over the next site and uses that as some excuse to badmouth eachother.

Take a step back and look at the situation. Its "car photoshopping" sites for crying out loud. Its a small market segment. You will NEVER have the traffic you want, you will NEVER get rich off of it, and people wont respect you more just because you run a crappy car photoshopping site.

Mentel, you've been guilty of slander, Mr.Wilde, I'm sure you have done the same at one point or another (maybe you havent, I cant think of a specific moment). The owner of www.photoshopcargods.com or some crap like that decided to attack everybody elses site to. Where is he?

My thoughts on this whole situation: Some of you need to lighten the fuck up. This is just a fun thing for everyone. Keep your immature thoughts to yourself; let the people who want to kill a few hours on saturday afternoon do their thing. Never assume you are some god in the chopping community (hell its not even a community). Again, no one gives a flying fuck.
