Re: 95 Celica Engine swap?!?!?
Depends on if the chassis is the same between the models. If the GT4 (ST205) and GT/ST (ST202/201) all use the same frame, then yours should already have a cut out for the differential, and driveshafts. That'll lower your cost to sourcing drivetrain parts and installation.
If it doesn't, including parts, it'd be cheaper to import and federalize a GT4. Excess of $20 Grand to get someone to modify the chassis to accommodate RWD. |

Re: 95 Celica Engine swap?!?!?
Hey, can anyone list all the parts Ill need to get my car running when I swap my engine? I want to know every thing I need so i can source them and make sure I will have then when I get the swap. I would hate to have to wait to drive my car because I forgot some little thing.
Thanks! |

Re: 95 Celica Engine swap?!?!?
illgt4,
Thanks for your info on 6gen celicas, I recently purchased one and have been hunting all over the internet for sites dedicated to or even offering aftermarket merch for this car. I was beginning to think I'd purchased a ghost. The links are especially helpful. I'll be posting threads and inquiries just as soon as I get in over my head. |
