Re: Removing Side bumper lights.....
Those corner lenses will be a bitch to take off. The back of them have little cheap metal nut type things like any screw would have, but the threads are plastic. I used a ratchet to loosen it to the point where it wouldnt ravage my fingers twisting it off. And you will probably have to jack up the front end to get under there and be able to see what the hell youre doing. Its frustrating though, so good luck.

Re: Removing Side bumper lights.....
Well, this reply is a little late... but if your still wondering on the side bumper lenses... using a "deep dish" socket helps out greatly on removing / installing those.
I didnt have to jack my car up at all to change those. Just feel around with your fingers to see where light bulb & two metal nuts are. Also, with your Automatic transmission... you wouldn't want to even try to start the car with no tranny fluid in there, your torque converter would die a gruesome death with no fluid . Be sure to use the proper ATF +3 (Type 7176) Chrysler fluid when re-filling and it definitely sounds like you have a leak somewhere... check the tranny pan on the driver's side under the car & the two little hoses that come off the front of the tranny that go to the factory cooler. If those are leaking, that needs to be tended to immediately.L8R, |
