1977 Accord, a little side project.

Hey would anyone get a 1977 accord for a side project?
Maybe swap in a newer engine.
I photochoped this image to give it the bodykit and lower stance

I would LOVE to have a 1st gen Accord as a project car, but I'd rather the sedan.
I don't know what would fit though... Probably a B18c1.
Is the 1st gen even FWD?

whoa...that is actually pretty cool
it's amazing how much better a car looks after it's lowered.

I don't think that car is front wheel drive.
I wonder how light that car is.

I'm sure if you strip that entire thing and put in a rollcage, you have yourself ready for a drag racer.

change the rear axle and tuck in some huge drag style rims and tires.
and maybe put a NSX engine in the back seat.

Either that, or extend the hood out a little farther and place a S2000 engine and contect that to the rear axle.

If I extend the hood I'll still keep the classic look of the front end though.
Hey someone photoshop some rims on the car.

Well, not much would fit without using a mount kit. So, if you need to get custom mounts done, I would get a B16A or even a B18C.

Weight shouldn't be that important since the 1st gen accord has a cast iron engine from what I remember.
