1992 (?) Honda Civic DX - Black Pearl Edition

What is black pearl edition?

Has a badge left of the steering wheel which says "Black Pear Edition. Limited Edition. Number 176/350" and a badge on both sides between the hatch and the back windows...

Wher'd you see it? I've never heard of it, and I ran a search and couldn't find it. cardomain.com has a hatch that is called black pearl, but I think that's what dude named it. Are you sure it was factory? I've heard they made Limited Edition ones with leather seats and some cool shit like that, but I've never seen one. Let me know what you hear. Thanks

The car is in Bergen, Norway...

History:
the car was baught in Belgium by a woman living in the uk and has left side steering wheel, but was imported to the UK immediately. was never in Belgium. the car was then sold to my brother in law early in 2002 and imported to norway in august 2002. he then sold it to a friend of mine in august/september 2003. the car was in a minor accident around november, but the only damage was a dent on the right side door and right front wheel arch. those were changed at the main dealer in Norway and are original color.

this is the only picture i have of it. sorry that it is so blurry. taken when it was being imported and registrated in Norway...

Can't get the link. Have you all ran a carfax on it? I'm not sure if they even have it for cars outside of US, but maybe you'll be able to find out if the "package" is factory. Is there anything else to it other than the interior badging? I find it fascinating, but I can't find shit about it. Have you tried any Honda specific sites? Good luck,

i've tried with the biggest honda dealer in Norway... and they just sent me an email back... "never sold that edition in norway so we dont know"...

never heard of it... maybe it was a unofficial dealer package.



Just wanted to know if you had any links on tuning the Volvo box. A friend has a turbo one and wants to make it into a sleeper.

if you check out the Volvo section in this forum, they know everything about it in the us... i dont know too much about volvo tuning in the us, since i live in Norway. I go to my local Volvo/Renault tuner shop and get my parts there, or across the fjord to the largest volvo salvage yard in Scandinavia...

However, check out http://www.volvo-power.net , they know alot about volvos and how to tune them.

http://www.eurosporttuning.com are tuners for Volvo and they are in the US.

What volvo does he have? a 4 cylinder or a 5 cylinder ?
