I don't want to step on anyone's toes by asking, but I would like to know for future referance.
How much did the Hummers cost (Cris and Cesar), if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks

Tex,
I have priced H1's quite a bit. The only new models made now from what I understand are the Wagons (around $115,000) and the open tops (around $105,000). Mine is a '99 4 dr hardtop. The man ordered it brand new, put 600 miles on it, passed away and his wife kept in garaged for 2 years. I picked it up for $50,000.00. I have a friend who ran a Hummer dealership in Oregon and he said it was a good price for the low miles and great condition. I have searched and found some a low as 25,000 for a 98, but it needed some engine work. Good deals are out there, you just have to find them.
Good luck,
Cris

Hi Tex, I just bought mine a couples of months ago, and I payed $55,000 plus taxes, I think I´m very lucky to find a Hummer H1 in this price and conditions!! It was 4,600 Miles, 2001 and almost new, the dealer told my brother that they never sold this H1 because they used it like a demo car.

Best wishes!!

WOW!!! No wonder it looks so clean, w/only 600 miles on it what would you expect. Excellent steal. I purchased a 2000 Ford F-150 from my mom for $5000 after my dad passed away. It has 2500 miles on the meter and looks like brand new. It's sad but those are usually the best deals that can be scored.
I've seen H-1s on e-bay for different prices but I need to see it in person.
See ya soon,
---TEX---

By the way, what part of the day is it there?
it is almost 10:00 PM here, Sunday night.

Yes...it is definately clean. It still had a faint new car smell. Not a scratch on it, still has the shine, and the inside is immaculate. Its 7pm here! Have an enjoyable Sunday evening...and a great week ahead!

This is a HUGE step and expense that I don't want to regret later. Any and all help is appreciated. Also, anyone know of a good company to purchase an extended warranty. Many of them don't seem to offer warranties on H1's. Thanks so much!!

Re: Should I buy a H1...please respond

If you buy an H2 call your insurance Co. to check how much more it is compared to a Tahoe/Sub 2500, They rate the Tahoe at 12 and the H2 at 22 im not sure how they get those numbers when its 80% the same truck

You guys might also want to check out Hummer.net
A lot of good people and VERY helpful!!!! I couldn't get a straight answer from a dealer here (Canada) about extra seats and on there was FLOODED with answers! Always wanted to drive the Alaskan highway IN WINTER!!! Hell, ANYONE can do it in the summer. I LOVE driving in snowstorms.
Enjoyed all your comments. Thank you. Den.
My favourite feature of the Hummer is NO AIRBAGS!!! And my wife would be able to get in because I wouldn't have to jack it 2 feet off the ground to make it usable off road.
