1958 Imapal + Interceptor (?) engine.
My father had a '58 Impala coupe. He said he got it with a police "Interceptor" engine. I do know he liked to hang out with detectives - in Chicago. And I was in the car when he was approaching 140 mph. I called it off. The rain water settling under the viaducts on Route 66 made me nervous. He said he had another inch or more on the gas pedal. Has anyone heard of an Impala with that "police" engine?
