I need help getting a Buick Skylark started, it has a 260 V-8
I need to the the firing order, someone else replaced the plug wires and I want to verify they are in the right place. It is getting fuel and sparks through the wires but doesn't want to fire the engine. If anyone knows the firing order or where I can get this info it would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: 1979 Skylark
The order on the cap follows the distributor rotation, typically from the marked #1 on the cap. If you place your hand on the vacuum advance, curl your fingers as if to hold the distributor. This will indicate the direction of the rotation. If they curl away from the dist, use the other hand. Ray
