Me and the guy who helped install it have never seen a more complete swap shipped from any other site (alternator, wiring harness, ecu, LSD tranny, full intake and exhaust manifold, axles, all hoses/wires intact instead of just cut off and ripped out of the donor car). My B16B was $4,000 and $450 shipped, but it shipped fast and she was in great shape - 210 compression across all four. I've heard horror stories about other sites, but they paid less than I did. Was my engine expensive? yeah... Will it fall apart in a couple years? Nope.

edit: I've heard good things about ardperformance also, but haven't seen a swap from them first-hand so who knows.

Ahh, I new you'd find your way in here and be able to add another site or too that was good. Inlinefour was the one I couldn't remember that I was trying to think of. That's why I posted Ricochet knows a few more, ask him, lol. I can see that was good advice, lol.

Damn, $4200 for a JDM Civic Type R or Integra Type R front clip? Pretty good prices. I would never actually weld one onto my car, but having all the other underhood goodies would be nice. They have a few mistypes though, saying "98 B16A2 front clips", when A2 Si's were 99-00 only.. but who knows.. maybe they just have a retard working the computer.

Whoa I didn't realize honda engines were so expensive!

Over a G per cylinder! These engines are good for 220-250hp at 160-190 Ft/lbs?

My F22 accord engine BETTER last, I'm sure that a 2-3 G engine in itself.

I could build a 400hp 350-400 ft/lbs chevy 350 for 2-3 G's and a newer LS1 will run you about 4 G's.

And what does that tell you about the technology and reliability? You get what you pay for, even if it has more hp. That and how many people do you see going out and picking up an LS1 daily, compared to the dozens of kids/young adults buying faster Civic engines? Supply and demand.. That's why H22 engines are so cheap. They have more power than most Honda/Acura engines, but they're a bitch to install/tune so nobody buys them.
