Check Engine light at 3200 RPM

Hi All, new poster...

My wife has a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan SE with the 3.3L V6 and approx 34K mileage. Last week she had the Check Engine light come on while driving home from work. I had to take the van in for service anyway due to a leak in a transmission cooler line (problem was leftover from an earlier repair). Dealer gave me the news that the Check Engine code came out to a problem with the number 6 cylinder misfiring. Said it was a simple replace of a spark plug and things would be fine. 2 days later Check Engine light comes on again. Monday I took the van back in and diag's showed same problem. Technician replaced the spark plug wiring and installed a new injector on the number 6 cylinder. Shop says everything should be fine. On Tuesday wife is driving home from work and the Check Engine light comes again. She made a bee line to the dealer and had them check under the hood again. Same problem as the 2 previous times.

On all occasions the van gets up to about 3200/3300 RPM and that is when the Check Engine light comes on. Has anyone else had a similiar problem? We have had enough small things go wrong on this van in the 2 years my wife has owned it that this kind of gets me. The van was actually a demo when my wife bought. It has had consistent problems with the body module and a couple of other related electrical problems. I should note that the van has been modified for disabled driver. It has a IMS ramp conversion and EMC digital driving controls. Highly doubt that those would cause any problems.

The van will be in the shop tomorrow (I'm going to love seeing them move it when it is set up for her to drive ) so if nothing else I'll post what happens.
