1996 Acura Integra SE Amp Probs

Yo guys and gals,

I own a 1996 Acura Integra SE that needs a new system.. Pulling an old JVC deck out of my honda I installed it with the conversion plug and everything worked nice..

I decided to upgrade again! (lol i know right) anyways i picked up a 1200 watt Rockford Fosgate Punch Amp, and ran all the wires. For some reason when I hitch up the remote wire the amp won't turn on with the car started/key on or off.. doesn't matter the light doesn't light up.. i did find when i plugged in the rca's to the back of the HU tho it made a wierd loud humming/static noise.. now the deck works cept for when a song hits bass it just crackles, even without the amp installed..

Is there a way for me to test that my amp is now blown without the head unit? I don't know where to wire it into the harness... new car.. so any help would be appreciated
